Bioshock Infinite

NK Jemisin offers compelling analysis of problematic themes in Bioshock: Infinite, or That Time We Tried to Say Fighting Racism Was As Bad As Being Racist.

I also agreed with her that the Asari in Mass Effect are in practice sex objects and Twi’lek redux -my addition- rather than empowering, though we’re both of a mind it’s a great game in other respects. I particularly like the themes of xenophobia approached in-game.
